South
Florida Jewish Academy believes that all members of its learning
community – students, parents, teachers, and administrators
– must be equally valued for their participation in creating
quality education.
We
believe that all children regardless of their challenges have
a right to become valuable and productive members in the community,
and have the ability to learn and experience the love of their
tradition.
We
believe that all children with the proper learning and therapy
will have the opportunities to achieve personal dreams and
goals.
We
believe that small classroom size and individualized curriculums
contribute to successful outcomes.
We
believe that success of our outcome is directly related to
the dedication and commitment of our qualified staff.
From
this philosophy of our school as a learning community, we
have set forth the following mission statement.
Certified
Teachers
Our qualified educators focus on mainstream academics and
Judaic studies for students in kindergarten through 8th grade
using their extensive experience in special education. Our
staff of speech and language pathologists and occupational
therapists help our children grow socially, as well as academically.

Small
Teacher - Student Ratio
Children receive quality education through innovative small
group instruction. A small student teacher ratio ensured student
success.
Individualized
Curriculum
Because we recognize the fact that every child learns at
a different pace, we tailor each curriculum to meet his or
her needs and abilities.
Teaching
Approach
We recognize induvidualize learning styles and address student
needs through multi-sensory learning in core subject areas.
To enhance meaningful learning, our curriculum includes art,
music, and physical education.

Judaic
Studies
Here at South Florida Jewish Academy, a strong knowledge
base of the Jewish Heritage is equally as important as mainstream
academia. We teach traditional Jewish values and the Hebrew
language to ensure students gain a core understanding of their
religious and cultural backrounds.
Parent
Cooperation
To us, parent interaction is just as important as teacher
involvement, as the parents are the ones who know their children's
capabilities the best. We work closely with them to address
their children's different ability levels in a cheerful and
nurturing learning environment.
Policy of Non-Discrimination
We practice a
policy of nondiscrimination in employment and admissions.
We hire employees and admit students of either sex and of
any race, color, non disqualifying handicap, religion, creed,
national or ethnic origin.
