Empowering children through higher learning and specialized programs!
South Florida Jewish Academy is a unique non-profit school serving children grades K-12 which understands that all children, those with special needs as well as typical children alike deserve special care and attention to help them gain confidence and realize their full potential. We work closely with parents to address their children’s different abilities and specific way of learning in a positive and nurturing environment. Children are taught to be creative, imaginative thinkers, leaders, actively involved in academic and social activities that build self confidence, self-esteem, and self motivation. Many of our children had no alternative for a Jewish Education as mainstream Jewish Schools were not able to handle them.

We believe that all children regardless of their challenges have a right to become valuable and productive members in the community, and have the ability to learn and experience the love of their tradition.
We believe that all children with the proper learning and therapy will have the opportunities to achieve personal dreams and goals.
We believe that small classroom size and individualized curriculums contribute to successful outcomes.
We believe that success of our outcome is directly related to the dedication and commitment of our qualified staff.
From this philosophy of our school as a learning community, we have set forth the following mission statement.
Our qualified educators focus on mainstream academics and Judaic studies for students in kindergarten through 8th grade using their extensive experience in special education. Our staff of speech and language pathologists and occupational therapists help our children grow socially, as well as academically.
We recognize individualized learning styles and address student needs through multi-sensory learning in core subject areas. To enhance meaningful learning, our curriculum includes art, music, and physical education.
Here at South Florida Jewish Academy, a strong knowledge base of the Jewish Heritage is equally as important as mainstream academia. We teach traditional Jewish values and the Hebrew language to ensure students gain a core understanding of their religious and cultural backgrounds.
To us, parent interaction is just as important as teacher involvement, as the parents are the ones who know their children’s capabilities the best. We work closely with them to address their children’s different ability levels in a cheerful and nurturing learning environment.
We practice a policy of nondiscrimination in employment and admissions. We hire employees and admit students of either sex and of any race, color,non-disqualifying handicap, religion, creed, national or ethnic origin.
